About the Canadian Open Hickory Championship

The annual Canadian Open Hickory Championship features players dressed in period style outfits (plusfours, tams, etc.) and playing with hickory-shafted golf clubs. A fun and competitive tournament all rolled into one - a great time is had by all with many players returning year after year. Many players come early or stay after to play at some of the local/mountain golf courses or 'see the sights" and make an extended holiday out of their trip. The Canadian Open Hickory Championship is hosted by The Legends Golf and Country Club - one of Edmonton's finest full-facility 27-hole golf courses. Just 25 minutes from downtown Edmonton, it can be easily found a short 3 1/2 miles north of Highway 16 near Sherwood Park. [Map]
